Katie and Mike were referred to Blush by Brandee Gaar by Katie’s awesome maid of honor! Katie had a loose vision of what she wanted for her wedding at her parent’s ranch. Blackwater Ranch is beautiful already but Katie was having a hard time envisioning the full potential of the barn and riding arena. This is where we came in! We met with Katie early on at the ranch and she walked us through her vision. From the picturesque lake in the backyard with the beautiful trees surrounding it for the ceremony to the rustic barn, we were able to paint an amazing picture for her big day.
The barn needed a bit more work than the backyard. Katie’s parents are definitely hard workers. Her dad had several projects already in mind to prepare for the event. And the barn was the major one! After an in-depth conversation with Katie and her dad, we came up with a plan for space and a rough sketch. That’s when we got to work!
In our final walkthrough of the space with Puff ‘N Stuff, we were blown away. Not only was the barn clean, but Katie’s dad had also removed a wall that made a world of difference as it opened the barn up more and created virtually no obstructions in the guests’ line of sight from the tent to the barn. always needed but it is great if you can work into your budget as it looks so much better and is more suitable for your guests. The tent fits perfectly between the barn and the riding arena. We knew cleaning it was the big thing and adding the appropriate amount of lights to create a fun atmosphere for dancing.

The wedding day was flawless! Since it was a private residence, we had a few days to setup, but we could have made it happen in one day if needed. The flexibility with setup let us focus so much on the little details of the wedding day that Katie and Mike were able to relax that much more! Guests arrived mostly by shuttle and were directed to the backyard for the beautiful ceremony. Afterward, they were treated to champagne and cold beer for their short walk down the driveway to the barn! Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and cocktails on the side of the barn along with the interior and then flowed perfectly into dinner and dancing.
