5 Simple Tips to Take the Stress Out of Wedding Planning

Here are 5 simple tips to help take the stress out of wedding planning. Everyone dreads the bridezilla and lets face it, this monster emerges due to one thing and one thing only… STRESS. Well today I’m here to help you get rid of that stress while planning your wedding with these 5 simple tips!

Tip #1: Pick the right vendors

When picking your vendors, pick someone who fits your style and understands the vision you have for your wedding. Go online and do your research! Check out their website and social media, and check their reviews! Meet with each vendor that you are interested in or considering and see if you connect with them and make sure that you are comfortable with them.

Tip #2: Trust the people you hire

Whether its your planner or your vendors, trust them! If you picked a great team to work with, chances are they are just as excited as you are about your big day! They want to make sure your wedding day comes together flawlessly so trust them when they make suggestions. Let them do their job so you are able to enjoy the celebration. This will relieve a lot of stress once you know you have hired the right team of people who have your back!

Tip #3: Focus on the reason you are getting married

Hello! This is a huge stress reliever. What got you to planning a wedding in the first place? You have found the love of your life. Enjoy this moment as a couple and focus on celebrating the love you have for each other. Let us plan the celebration so you can party all the way through!

Tip #4: Focus on one task at a time

I’m sure you already have a lot on your plate which is why you have booked a planner or you’re looking into booking a Blush planner for your wedding. Planning a wedding while working a 9-5pm job or going to school can be exhausting and STRESSFUL! To relieve some stress start by making a checklist. Not a large checklist, but something small. Fill your checklist with small tasks that are realistic and easy to accomplish, then check them off!

Tip #5: Ask for help

Lastly, don’t be afraid to ask for help! If you are ever feeling overwhelmed due to all of the emotions that come with planning a wedding, stop and ask for some help. Reach out to your Blush planner, family, friends or your bridesmaids.
